With a total of 6 bedrooms for guests,the converted hay loft of the old steading has been converted into 4 well appointed bedrooms in this small hotel near to Kirriemuir in the Angus Glens offering a range of accommodation, including a family room.

We also have 2 new Courtyard Bedrooms built in 2005 offering a luxurious bedroom with spacious bathroom in a Courtyard setting. With Ground floor access, these rooms are also accessible by wheelchair and perfect for those guests wishing to bring their dog with them.

The Main Hotel Rooms are spacious, individually decorated and comfortable with the original coomed ceilings and hayloft windows. All Hotel Rooms have their own en-suite facilities with Power Shower. The Rooms also have state of the art wall mounted flat screen televisions with Freeview, a welcoming hospitality tray with mineral waters, hairdryers and bathrobes provided to make your stay comfortable & relaxing. A gun cabinet and drying facilities are also available for guests to use.

The Family Room has a sofa bed suitable for 2 small children or 1 older child and a cot is also available.

Our rooms are ideal for individual bookings or for small groups of up to 12 adults - perfect for a weekend away from the city to do walking or just relax, or maybe as a base for touring the area for a few days. We also make a great venue to celebrate a special occasion or a birthday with some of your friends and family.

There are also many shooting estates locally offering grouse,partridges and phesants during the season and very accessible from Lochside Lodge.
